Learning Aim A - Research of media campaigns
Donald Trump
Social Media Platforms - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram

Donald Trump is a very well known American, which is made obvious due to the amount of followers he has on his social media platforms. As shown, over 23 million people have liked his Facebook page, with over 24 million people following him on it. During his run for presidentcy, Donald Trump was able to broadcast his campaign to millions of people world wide, not only in america, due to his major social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
The campaign Donald Trump was running was to become the President of the United States of America. In order to improve his chances in becoming the president, he had to persuade people of America to vote for him by informing them of all the positive influences he will have on the country. In order to reach out to as many americans as possible, he used multiple media platforms which included Facebook, Instagram and twitter. As well as this, he completed several speeches in several cities throughout America, persuading people to vote for him. His campaign started years in advance of the president election, meaning he was able to provide information consistently for a very long period of time, meaning he was always in the midst of the American people. He runs his own social media accounts, meaning he could inform the americans of what he wanted to, the way he wanted to. Before running for president, he was already a well known businessman and has a net worth of an estimated 3.1 billion US dollars.

'Make America great again!' or 'MAGA' was what president Trump stood by during his campaign, and the quote was imprinted in everyones head, due to it being all over the world and wherever you looked due to his social media platforms. It was and still is a very successful punchline and abbreviation that was easy for citizens not only of america, but all over the world to remember, even if they didn't want to. As shown above, Donald Trump has his own website, and on it has a shop where people can purchase merchandise with his phrase on all over the world, not only America.
The color red is visible wherever you look, as long as it has something to do with Donald Trump, as that is the party color. The color is very obvious and bold to the human eye, and is used on his website, merchandise, posters et cetera. The bold fonts used in his websites, social media pages, magazines et cetera signifies his authority and makes his campaign stand out to the citizens of America, his target audience.

Evaluation of my products
Josh Pool
1) A justification of all the the aesthetic, technical and production decisions involved in producing the magazine.
While making my front cover and double page spread, i had to crop out two images of myself, one for each the front cover and double page spread. I don't this using a variation of lasso tools and the magic wand tool. I decided the platform of my magazine would be print as i feel i am much better at photoshop than designing a web page, making the links for it etc.
To make my magazine as original as possible, i decided to use only one secondary research image, which was the barcode on the front cover. Instead of leaving the barcode how it is and just positioning it where i wanted it, I made my magazine further more unique by inverting the colors, wo that the background was black, with the lines and numbers being white. In order to get the barcode I used, I simply searched 'barcode' on google images.
2) Consider the suitability of the finished magazine in relation to the specified audience (what age group where you appealing to?)
My magazine may appeal to people around my age, as the main focus of the magazine is interviewing your ordinary person, and learning about them, instead of celebrities. It is a more realistic magazine as each individual is different. I may be more relatable to people around my age compared to a major celebrity.
3) Evaluate how effectively you have managed and reviewed the stages of production.
I believe i done a good job in keeping design of the front cover and double page of my magazine both simple and eye catching to my target audience.
